The reflection box under each session note is yours alone. Your coach can't see it. Nobody at YDY can see it. The AI never sees it.

Before a reflection is saved, it's locked with strong encryption (AES-256). The key that unlocks it is kept separately from the database, so anyone looking at the stored data sees only scrambled text. The database also has a rule that only you can fetch your reflections.

Being fully honest about the limits: the website itself has to unlock your reflection to show it to you, so someone with full control of the web server and its secret key could, in theory, read it. We chose this so you never lose your reflections if you forget a password.

Your session notes and next steps (including which ones you've ticked off), your check-in answers and scores, your messages, your program and goals, and the animal you picked.

Nothing. Every client's information is walled off from everyone else's — enforced by the database itself, not just the screens.

Your coach can use AI (Claude, made by Anthropic) to help draft session notes, summarize how your check-ins have changed, and prepare for sessions. Every draft is read and approved by your coach before you see it.

Only what's needed for that one task is sent — never your private reflections. Anthropic doesn't use this information to train its AI.

Notifications only ever say there's something new in your portal. They never include what your coach wrote. You can turn them off any time in Settings.

On secure servers in the United States (Supabase for the database, Vercel for the website). Everything travels over an encrypted connection, and the database is encrypted on disk. We don't use ads, trackers or analytics that follow you around.

You can download everything we hold about you — including your reflections — from Settings. If you'd like your account and all your data deleted, just ask your coach and it will be permanently removed.
